Job, Colleges, and Halloween!

These past couple of weeks have been CRAZY busy and eventful. I'm going to try my hardest to post every week again, but school sometimes just gets in the way and takes every possible second of my free time. So, we'll see. Anyways, what do I need to update on...

1. I got a job! 

This might be old news, but I finally got a job in August. Right now, I tutor at a university and make over minimum wage (which is really exciting, given that I get to choose my own hours). Overall, the job fits into my schedule perfectly and I only have to work around 4 hours every week. I initially took on this job just to get experience and to try something new, and the fact that I get to teach for four hours of my week is just a really great plus also. So, with that being said, let's just say I went a little crazy with my first paycheck. I am now $92 poorer, haha. 

2. Shopping. 

These past two weekends that i've gone home was basically ALL shopping, or in other words, ALL fun. Sadly, I don't have all my pieces with me to do a mini haul. I mostly bought pieces from H&M, Urban Outfitters, and Forever 21.

3. Finished Applying for Colleges! 

Do you see that last column?! It makes me so happy. This grueling process began in the middle of last summer and it is FINALLY done. I do have some honors apps and scholarships to fill out, but those won't take too long! Just so happy!

4. Happy Halloween! 
My program's Halloween Party was quite the turn up, lol. I had so much fun. Here are some pictures from that...

5. Got to meet Baby Dante! 
So the night after the Halloween Party, I finally go to meet my nephew (i guess i could call him that) Dante! Isn't he the cutiest?

6. Going home for the weekend = FOOD, FOOD, FOOD. 

Well this is a given. The parentals definitely know the way to my heart. 

7. Happiness Update 

Sometimes I apologize for being happy all the time, but I definitely don't regret it. Right now, at this point in my life, I feel free to do what ever I want to do. I feel that no one cold ruin my mood or stop me from doing anything I put my mind to. That is the mentality behind the smile. There is so much of the world to explore, so many people to meet, so many experiences, so many books, so many songs, so much knowledge. I am just so overwhelmed, but ready to tackle on life. If you don't really feel happiness a lot, you should probably try it sometime. This feeling is GREAT.
