Fall 2014 Semester Wrap Up

The fall semester has finally come to a close. Words cannot clearly express how thankful I am for this 5/6 week semester break! I rolled out of the dorm with 2 big suitcases around a week ago and now that is what I am living out of, lol. A couple things happened this semester that were a bit different from last semester:

  1. I had to juggle school and work for the first time.
  2. The college application process effected my amount of free time.
  3. I took an "overload" of hours from what was expected (which I hope I don't have to do anymore in the future)
  4. I finally have a car, so I can drive to HEB or to volunteering by myself now.
  5. For some reason, I had a 3 HOUR Lab class for Chemistry and I actually had to take electives and classes that don't necessarily pertain to my major.
Even though most of this was a struggle and the entire semester was new territory, you can see that I successfully made it through the entire semester without damaging my GPA (thank goodness). This semester was important in determining the valedictorian and salutatorian spot in my program, so excellent grades were crucial. Thank you to all the people who helped me through this semester and who calmed me down whenever I was worried about a class or an assignment! I couldn't have done it without you <3
